Areas in Culture to Encourage More Creativity
Author: J. T. Cane
Below is a list of areas to bolster creativity. Now you may be thinking, “I’m not creative” or “Where do I need to be creative in my life?” or “Why should I care about creativity in culture?” The answer is, all of us are creative on a daily basis– that’s how we survive. Also, being able to solve problems or being more effective in taking on challenges and dealing with life’s difficulties maturely and successfully is a very large part of being creative, personally and globally. Getting along with others at times takes a great deal of creative thinking. Creativity is the source of everything that exists.
Embrace creativity! Our Soul depends on it!
- Encouraging more diversity through multi-ethnic clubs would enable individuals to experience different points of view and lifestyles.
- Encourage humans to look at their lives, specifically their work and contemplate their level of satisfaction with who they are and what they are doing in connection with the greater whole, conceptually.
- Encourage people to use their signature strengths, things one is good at and to achieve gratification in those main areas of life.
- Encourage individuals to pursue gratifying work as it is done for its own sake rather than for the material benefits it brings.
- Find ways to promote that creativity is valued more. Show how it is valued.
- More exposure: knowing what is available
- Promote the true definition of culture and how a variety of skills and shared beliefs can be an asset to society. Show how it is valued.
- Teach philanthropy in schools and advocate the idea of support for the common good of others. Help young people to understand that these individuals, groups, and organizations are essential to the well-being of people everywhere.
- Become a more right brain society. We have developed as a factory society.
- Change old ‘Puritan’ behaviors.
- Reward innovative behaviors.
- Change the male-dominated point of view.
