Finding a girlfriend is supposed to be easy if you know where to look. However is it?

Finding a girlfriend can be easy if you go to a pub that is full of women. However it’s hard to break into a group of two or three or more single women. If she is on her own, it’s not so bad. But what type of woman goes to the pub on her own – an alcoholic?

Finding a girlfriend at the pub is fine if you are a pub person but if you are not, do you want a girlfriend you have to collect from the pub at closing time who is too drunk to drive herself home?

The problem with finding a girlfriend at the pub is that how do you know if she is single?Women object to being asked as an opening line. A young fellow told me how he had been buying a girl drinks for a couple of hours while she discussed her trip to Mildura, Australia next weekend. He eventually asked her who she was going with and got the reply, “With my boyfriend”.

I want to ask at this stage why is she letting a guy buy her drinks if she already has a boyfriend? Would you like your girlfriend to be allowing other fellows to buy her drinks? Unless you live at the pub, it’s not really the place to find a girlfriend.

I have a saying: if you don’t have a girlfriend it’s hard to get one, if you have lots of girlfriends it’s easy to get one. The secret is to make friends with as many girls as possible, the more the merrier.

Don’t worry about what they look like – all shapes and sizes and all ages. If you spend your time working hard at making friends, one of them will eventually be your girlfriend or her best friend or sister will become your girlfriend. It’s all about the law of averages. Make enough friends and one will become your girlfriend.
