Is it time for a change?
Author: Ronald E Wilbanks
Is it time for change? Of course it is, we should always be challenging ourselves and changing for the better. If we continue to do what we have always done we will continue to get what we have always gotten. Change can be as simple as changing how we put on our shoes in the morning, or where we sit at the table at dinner time, so go ahead and get a different perspective on life – just be making small changes.
Many species have evolved over the years with small changes for the purpose of increasing the chance of survival and the quality of life; I can certainly relate, can you? Go ahead use your imagination and try a pattern interrupt and see what happens.
What are some things that you would like to change in your life, eating? Try sitting at a different place at the table or eat at a different time. What about your relationship? If you have certain routines that you do try to change them just a little, remember that change is good. This means that we are growing and creating new neural pathways.
How about work or your business, try going a different way to work or enter in a different way, change that routine just enough to take you out of your comfort zone a little. I promise that if you are determined to stick to this that you will be amazed at many of the positive changes that will be forthcoming.
Challenges are the best way to force change. Most growth is experienced out of challenge, the only difference is this is a challenge that you will set for yourself instead of that is imposed upon you. I prefer 90 day challenges; set a goal and challenge yourself to make certain changes and stick to them for 90 days. How bad do you want change?
Did you know that there are certain things that successful people do a regular basis? Would you like to know what they are? It does not meant that if you do these things that you are guaranteed success or failure. It just means that you will increase your odds and gives you something in common with successful people.
Here are just a few of the morning rituals:
1. Exercise
2. Healthy breakfast
3. Meditate
4. Contemplate the day.
P.S. Let me know what your results are.
