As I have gone through life it hasn’t always been with the thought of purpose. Many days were spent putting one foot in front of the other with no clear thought of where I was going any further than the end of the day. Sometimes just getting through the day-to-day chores is all we can handle. But, I needed to give a lot more thought to what type of life I wanted to lead. I have always known we are all here to live our life with purpose.

When change in status occurs or when our definitions of ourselves collide, the resulting confusion can lead to an identity crisis; a whacked out sense of self, if you will. Some human-made or artificial titles and successes are bloated enough to take over our whole identity.

Time. It is arguably our most valuable commodity. Unlike treasured gems, precious metals and any other prized possessions, time can’t be hoarded, collected, earned, or bought with hard work, money, dignity or our soul. It slips away whether or not we choose to pack meaning into it. Use it or lose it, so goes the saying.
