You can change your mood by changing what you smell. Smell has a powerful effect on behavior. Certain smells can brighten our moods and lift our spirits. Some smells we find repulsive and alert us to danger. If smells are such powerful influencers of moods and behavior doesn’t it make sense that changing the smell can also change the behavior?

I’ve been teaching for more than 20 years, which means I have met many people over that time. As much as I try, it’s tough to remember people’s names. I’ve tried memory tricks, such as associating the person with an object, another person, a city, and so on. I’m better at remembering names today than before, but I have plenty of room for improvement.

Time. It is arguably our most valuable commodity. Unlike treasured gems, precious metals and any other prized possessions, time can’t be hoarded, collected, earned, or bought with hard work, money, dignity or our soul.
