How to Deal with Bombing in Stand Up Comedy

Nobody likes to be laughed at for the wrong reasons.  Imagine that (or maybe you don’t have to imagine it) you worked so hard at something, did a ton of preparation, expected great results, but in the end no one appreciated all your hard work.  Sucks, right?  I find that when things don’t go as planned it really helps to see the funny side of whatever it is.  I know that can be tough at times, but chances are there is a funny side– we just have to allow ourselves to see it.  When we do, boy does it take the weight off the drama of the situation and allows us to move forward and leave it behind.  Embrace whatever bugs you…you’ll show your emotions who’s the boss.
