  • Excellent blog! Do you have any suggestions for aspiring writers?
I’m planning to start my own blog soon but I’m a little lost on everything.
Would you propose starting with a free platform like
Wordpress or go for a paid option? There are so many options out there that
I’m totally confused .. Any recommendations?

    Thanks a lot!

Hi there, sorry to get back to you so late. Of what suggestions I have regarding writing, first would be to pick up a book called ‘If You Can Talk You Can Write’. It is an excellent source to free up your creativity and be more natural in your writing. It has exercises that can help you. Also, be concise in what you say. There is a saying about good editors: If you can talk to teenagers in a way they can understand, you can be a good editor. Keep it simple so the masses can understand the information and the flow of your thought process in getting a point across. Also stay away from BIG words..the words that you see in a research article for instance. You don’t want people to feel as though they have to keep stopping to look up words.

I do suggest you start with a free platform. WordPress is a great idea. I started one for a friend of mine on there. My website WordPress) cost a couple bucks, but is worth it to me.
Let me know if you have anymore questions. Happy to help!
    John
