Drama Queen

Article #711

Author: Bellaisa Filippis

A drama queen can suck the fun out of any party and scare away even the most patient guy. Are you worried that you may be a drama queen? The following 5 signs will give you a better understanding of what a drama queen really is, so that you can have no doubt in your mind as to whether or not you are one or not.

Sign 1: You Are Attracted To Jerks and Not Good Guys

A drama queen will always look for guys who cause her…well, drama. She will quickly reject a guy who seems to be a good guy, because he is not interesting enough for her. However, if some cigarette smoking, fast-talking, and overly confident guy crosses her path, she will chase him down until they are dating.

Sign 2: You Don’t Date Guys Who Show Too Much Interest In You

If a guy shows you too much interest then you reject him. It doesn’t matter what kind of guy he is. You would rather try to ‘win’ a guy over than just get into a nice and easy relationship. This way you can complain about how he doesn’t call you back all the time or make time to get together with you.

Sign 3: You Receive Tons of Negative Attention

Positive attention is not a normal occurrence for you. You are usually angry and causing fights, so negative attention is what you are showered with. In fact, confrontational may just be your middle name and you are viewed as a bad girl! You don’t necessarily feel bad about the negative attention that you receive; in fact, you kind of feel good about the confrontations and fights you get into.

Sign 4: You Look For Conflict Where There is None To Be Found

While most people who enjoy a day with laughter and fun, you would rather start fights for no reason, or create a problem when there was no problem to create. You find things to get upset about and then you make sure that you everyone else around you feels upset as well.

Sign 5: You Always See The Negative Side

Without negativity there would be no drama, so you naturally see the glass half empty instead of half full. The grass is not greener on the other side for you. Actually, the grass is just as yellow as it is on your side. In short, there is no positive side that you can find to most situations.

Do you resonate with a few of the above 5 signs? If you do, then you may be a drama queen. Remember, that being a drama queen is going to cost you friends and relationships, and cause you unhappiness in your life that doesn’t need to be there. You need to change your ways before you really start to regret it.
