How to be honest with everyone

Being honest with people can be quite difficult, especially if that person is your enemy. If that person is your boss, friend, or co-worker it can be very difficult addressing issues with them. Firstly, understand why you think your dishonest. It can be related to financial, emotional, or physical stress. People who are introverted and imploded often times cannot deal with honesty – so they make up a lie. This lie in turn becomes the receivers vision of the person. All of us have been there, the narcissistic employer who hides himself from the world and lives two different ways, or your friend who you trusted suddenly becomes your worst enemy. It becomes increasingly difficult if you cannot fess up and forgive the person. Another way is to find a way to their heart, by being creative enough to make dinner plans or a small get together party.

Often times dishonestly is the result of negative rejection taken personally. Do not take rejection at all – nobody can tell you what you should become at all. It’s for you to decide. There is also this growing mentality that you must please everyone and be the best kid on the block. This is somewhat a lie because not all people live in rich neighborhoods with access to rich resources. Some of us live in blue collar neighborhoods and are struggling to survive. Shifting from this mentality you must think honestly and have clear morals. You must see right from wrong, truth from a lie, and take action. Being honest is quite hard because it opens our heart to rejection and criticism and the truth just hurts. Remember that an honest relationship is worth having, and honesty is the best virtue one could ever have. In the end its honesty that wins the argument and sets you free.
