“The Happiness Advantage: Linking Positive Brains to Performance”

Submitted by on February 15, 2013 – 2:10 amNo Comment

Shawn Achor imagesPeople like people who like life. It’s that simple. The concept of this video is not that complex. I recently watched a program where there was an interview with fitness expert, Denise Austin. In this interview she explained how she became successful and got her own TV show. She said she was at a presentation where Jack Lalane was speaking. Immediately after, Denise ran up to him and explained who she was and her passion for what she was doing for people in the world of fitness. She very positively and optimistically asked him his advice on how to get her own show. The result was Jack Lalane was the reason Denise Austin got her first TV fitness show. Denise also went onto explain that she got on the Today Show because of her passion. She called eighteen times to get on, and finally she did. Research supports that confident people are also optimistic. Maybe there’s something to this “Happiness Advantage”. – Self Help Guides

One great advantage to Shawns positive philosophy is the impact it will have on relationships. When you have someone that is negative and pessimistic, it affects everyone around that person. One small change in attitude makes a HUGE difference. It can change a marriage, a family, even a the life of a child. – Denise Sisco
